Hilson Moran’s Living Lab Secures Second Major Accolade with Win at the 2025 Mix Awards

We are delighted to announce that The Living Lab, our new hub office in London Bridge, has been named Project of the Year in the Workplace Interiors 5-10k sq ft category at the 2025 Mix Awards.

Celebrating the very best in commercial interiors, the Mix Awards recognise design excellence, innovation, and sustainability. The Living Lab stood out among a competitive field for its bold vision, collaborative delivery and forward-thinking approach to workplace design.

Designed in partnership with Gensler, the Living Lab is more than just a workplace – it’s an interactive, adaptable and inclusive environment that embodies our core philosophy of People, Places and Planet. From biophilic design and exposed engineering systems to WELL and BREEAM-aligned strategies, the space serves as both a functional office for our people and a showcase of our building services expertise in action.

Director at Hilson Moran John Deasy commented: “This award is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team and project partners. The Living Lab is not just a place to work, it’s a living, breathing example of what good engineering and thoughtful design can achieve when sustainability and wellbeing are placed front and centre.”

We would like to thank the full project team, including cost manager Turner & Townsend Alinea, contractor ISG, as well as our own colleagues who helped bring this vision to life. The Mix Awards recognition affirms our commitment to creating innovative, sustainable spaces that support both people and planet.
