Last week Marie-Louise Schembri, Associate Sustainability Consultant presented her Pecha Kucha to a crowd of industry peers as part of the NLA’s Sustainability Programme – London 2050: is a greener, zero-carbon city possible? An ambitious target set by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan to put London on course to be run entirely on clean energy by 2050 – a zero-carbon city.
The audience watched seven different presentations that focused on their own innovative solutions to the question all in the quick fire Pecha Kucha format. Marie Louise’s Pecha Kucha focused on how smart systems and data analytics will shape a path to a new architecture that can deliver a sustainable future for London.
The challenge of the Pecha Kucha format is that presenters are limited to 20 slides only, all shown for 20 seconds each (6 minutes and 40 seconds in total) enabling a fast-paced and concise presenting of ideas.
You can check out all the slides from that night here.
