Technical Building Performance Engineer

We are seeking to employ a Technical Building Performance Engineer to be based in our London/Manchester or Farnborough office.

The role

Our Operational Buildings team optimise our clients’ buildings to be consistently desirable to tenants. And the key to this is maximising flexibility and occupant comfort.

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Hilson Moran’s Operational Building group to support our clients in delivering all aspects of portfolio management, from MEP engineering services operation, from maintenance and plant replacement to building refit and refurbishment. We cover everything from handover to delivery of Net Zero Carbon strategies, life-cycle plans, upgrade projects, energy efficiency advice and independent technical support; wherever and whenever it is needed.

This also includes:

  • M&E Services Maintenance audits
  • Preparation of site visit risk assessments
  • Attending/ Chairing review meetings with contractor and client
  • Surveys
  • Lifecycle plans
  • Providing technical support to clients
  • Procurement of maintenance contracts
  • License to alter reviews
  • TM44 Inspections

We’d like to hear from you if you have

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of BTEC or above in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
  • Experience in an M&E portfolio management role for a design consultancy or real estate client.
  • Experience in M& E service provider (M and E), Ex Armed Forces or Consultancy.

  • Have a passion for the development of energy and carbon consultancy
  • Have the ability to prepare condition and feasibility reports in an organised and structured manner
