Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Enthusiastic individual with a relevant academic background.
• Interest in Fire Engineering design analysis for the built environment, and crucially—have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
• Experience in preparing detailed fire strategy reports and providing fire engineered solutions for a wide range of building occupancies from residential through to commercial for low rise and high rise developments, with an appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions for the overall development.
• Have an understanding of the construction design process and business development with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst being able to manage your own time to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of passive fire protection methods and smoke control systems with a basic knowledge of fire suppression systems is essential, experience creating and reporting on Computational Fluid Dynamic fire models would be advantageous.
• You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy.
