You will be an enthusiastic individual with a relevant academic background. You will have a real interest in Fire Engineering design analysis for the built environment, and crucially—have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

You will have experience of preparing detailed fire strategy reports and providing fire engineered solutions for a wide range of building occupancies from residential through to commercial for low rise and high rise developments, with an appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions for the overall development.

Qualifications / skills / experience

The ideal candidate will also have an understanding of the construction design process and business development with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst being able to manage your own time to meet deadlines.

A good understanding of passive fire protection methods and smoke control systems with a basic knowledge of fire suppression systems is essential, experience creating and reporting on Computational Fluid Dynamic fire models would be advantageous.
