Hilson Moran was established in 1977 by Jim Hilson and Peter Moran, specifically with the aim of providing a higher quality of engineering consultancy service than they had experienced while pursuing their early careers within contracting organisations.

The practice has evolved in to encompass ten key service lines – MEP, Sustainability, Masterplanning Energy & Environment, Vertical Transportation, Acoustics, Fire Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Smart Buildings and Facilities Management – and we are a market leader in applying digital processes and technology to deliver increasingly complex built environment projects.


The longevity of our relationships with our clients and our numerous repeat commissions are testament to the quality of design and communication which have remained at the core of our service offer for more than forty years. Just ask them!

We employ more than 250 staff who work across six offices internationally, making use of the latest communications technologies and project management software to seamlessly deliver projects across the globe.
