Hilson Moran helping to deliver sustainable infrastructure at Atlantic Park, Liverpool’s new global gateway

Hilson Moran is proud to be supporting Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) in the delivery of Atlantic Park, a landmark industrial and logistics development in Bootle, Liverpool.

The 800,000 sq ft scheme, located on the former Rolls Royce site, is being delivered in two phases and is set to provide a major boost to the Liverpool City Region – creating new jobs, attracting inward investment and strengthening the city’s role as a global logistics hub.

To mark the completion of Phase 1, Hilson Moran has produced a new video featuring David Morris, Development Director at RLAM Property, and Tom Reade, Studio Director at Hilson Moran. Together, they share how collaboration has driven the project forward – from shaping resilient energy infrastructure to embedding low-carbon and biodiversity strategies.

From the outset, Hilson Moran has played a key role in shaping the development’s sustainability, energy and infrastructure strategy. Our team has provided MEP, environmental, and acoustics consultancy, including:

  • Futureproofing below-ground infrastructure, designing a network that can accommodate greater power demands in the future.
  • Whole life carbon analysis and energy modelling, supporting BREEAM certification and helping achieve ambitious embodied carbon targets.
  • Ensuring sustainability targets met in line with Royal London’s Sustainability Tracker

Tom Reade, Studio Director at Hilson Moran, said:

“Atlantic Park represents a new standard for industrial and logistics developments. By embedding resilience and sustainability into the design from day one, we’ve helped create a scheme that not only delivers for Royal London, but also for the wider community.

Phase one of Atlantic Park is now complete, with letting agents marketing the first four units to prospective tenants. Phase two, comprising the final three units, is currently under construction and due for completion within the next 12 months.
