As part of our Future Forty year Hilson Moran launched a design competition for students in the Built Environment Engineering sector, asking them to answer the question: ‘How will the design and construction of the built environment change in the next forty years?’
In 2017 Hilson Moran is celebrating its fortieth anniversary. In recognition of this achievement the practice is producing Future Forty (link to Future Forty Page) – a year of events and initiatives which look forward to our next 40 years in design and construction, and consider how the industry will look in 40 years’ time.
Judges for the competition included Peter Rees, Professor of Places & City Planning at the UCL Faculty of the Built Environment and Wei Jiao, Senior Development Manager at Westminster City Council. Alongside Hilson Moran’s Technical Director, Nigel Clark, and Mechanical Design Engineer and Andrew Moore, Principal Sustainability Consultant, who after careful deliberation, chose the most innovative and forward thinking entry as the winner.
