UK Building Services Engineers Declare Climate & Biodiversity Emergency

There is a global climate crisis and the construction industry has a major role to play in tackling this. Hilson Moran is proud to support the UK Building Services Engineers Declare initiative, signing the open letter urging the UK Government to take action against the threats to our climate and biodiversity.

Following on from the successful Architects Declare campaign launched earlier this summer, the momentum has spread across the UK construction industry with similar calls to action being rolled out for civil, structural and now building services engineers.

Tony Morris, Managing Director says of this decision

“As a practice our focus is on designing spaces that support a healthy and sustainable environment. This is paramount to our working practices and is something that we’ve been committed to for over 40 years.

We are constantly researching new and innovative solutions for buildings that are not only designed to reduce carbon emissions and support the circular economy but also helps to improve the health and wellbeing of its users.

Hilson Moran is urging all building services engineering practices to sign the register and support Building Services Engineers Declare.
