The Rock is a major new build 150,000 sq m retail, leisure and residential complex comprising 47,000 sq m of retail accommodation, 1,250 car parking spaces, a Vue ten-screen multiplex cinema, an AMF 24-lane bowling and family entertainment centre, eight new restaurants and cafés, 408 residential units and a new 4,000 sq m PCT healthcare facility.
We have been involved with the site for nearly 10 years, with numerous projects ranging from client monitoring of the retail base building to design of the residential element of the scheme, and subsequently design of many retail fit outs, as well as planning assistance and design of an additional block. Our sustainability team also provided EPC’s for a number of retail units within the shopping centre and we have more recently supported a redesign of Block A.
