Coal Drops Yard (CDY) is a new exciting and unexpected shopping and dining district situated in the heart of historical industrial King’s Cross and designed for retailers and visitors who crave a cutting edge experience within a thriving community. CDY comprises a series of heritage buildings and structures in the Conservation Area and forms a part of wider King’s Cross Central Development scheme, where cobbled streets and exposed bricks are a signature look.

With more than 200 million people passing through King’s Cross every year, it was no surprise that this most sought after area was chosen by Samsung to create a new experience space, Samsung KX; an inspiration hub which fuses together culture, community and one-of-a-kind innovations alongside a range of events, workshops and performances. Our team was thrilled to be involved in a fit out project for Samsung KX, the space was designed to serve as a playground for guests, becoming a centre of excellence showcasing the brand’s full ecosystem through its newest devices and services in a unique and creative way.

Having provided MEP, BMS and fire services, our consultants remained respectful to the historic character of the building and delivered a harmonious design which compliments the original features and works seamlessly with the overall look and feel of Samsung KX.

An inspiration hub which fuses together culture, community and one-of-a-kind innovations alongside a range of events, workshops and performances.
