PROJECTS Workplace

BMW Summit One Fit Out

Farnborough, UK

This project involved a major refurbishment of a multi-building campus, acquired by BMW from Nokia  to serve as their new UK Headquarters, with the aim of BMW consolidating several offices into one site. The campus consists of 3  buildings of 4 storeys, ancillary buildings and multi-storey car parks along with a newly constructed state of the art workshop, overall providing BMW with 350,000 sq ft of space.

We developed an ‘Energy Saving Matrix’ which outlined a set of plant refurbishment / upgrades along with quantifying predicted energy savings, costs of implementation, and payback periods. This enabled BWM to assess the impact and financial viability of potential changes, with the ultimate aim of helping BMW reduce long-term operational costs linked to energy consumption. Our analysis demonstrated that the refurbishment / upgrades we proposed would result in an improvement of the buildings EPC rating from D to C.
