The 50/60 Station Road, commercial and retail scheme, is the tallest and one of the largest in Cambridge’s CB1 development and conveniently located in a close proximity to the railway station and just 15 minutes’ walk from the city’s historic centre.

Building provides 156,348 sq ft of modern, open plan, sustainable office space, efficiently laid out over 8 floors along with top floor terrace. Basement level features car and cycle parking, whilst the ground level enhances urban space quality with the provision of retail units.

We have provided a multi-disciplinary design services throughout the main design phases, including development of the energy strategy. The scheme incorporates stylish, high performance façades, responding to environmental requirements and aiming at reduction of CO2 emissions. Engineering systems were designed to enhance seasonal operating efficiencies and to decrease the overall consumption of energy, with an achievement of 32% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to Part L. Plant has been located mainly on the roof including photovoltaic panels as part of the building’s energy strategy.
