Hailsham Town Centre Regeneration Project

We are delighted to have been appointed by Wealden District Council and Hailsham Aspires to support the regeneration of the Town Centre of Hailsham in East Sussex.

Appointed to provide environment, infrastructure, transport, mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) and Civil Engineering Services, we’ll act as the engineer for this hugely exciting project, designed by Conran & Partners, to rejuvenate the town. We are taking responsibility for ensuring the development is fully integrated into the town, taking into account future proofing and sustainability.  The scope of the appointment is up to RIBA Stage 2 and will require the submission of a validated outline planning application with Design Codes for the masterplan scheme. The masterplan fulfils the needs and desires of Hailsham now, and in the future aiming to improve footfall and dwell-time

Working alongside AKTII and Tyrens UK, the Hilson Moran team will work with Hailsham Aspires, Wealden District Council and a host of other stakeholders to target a net zero carbon development to ensure alignment with national targets for zero carbon by 2050.

The project is planned to complete in 2025.

If you would like to know more about this project, speak to Chris Birch who is a project director and environmental lead for this work.
