Hilson Moran has been included in Building Magazine’s Good Employer Guide for the sixth year running.
The practice has once again been placed in the top 50 firms within the listing which takes into account information supplied by the practice. This year the awards was aligned to a new approach focusing specifically on innovative workplace initiatives designed to ‘improve staff’s daily lives and, by extension, business performance’.
The five main entry categories for 2018 included:
- Training
- Outreach and recruitment
- Flexible working and Parental policies
- Connection and communication
- Wellbeing
With initiatives being rolled out across the practice designed to promote health and wellbeing and our aspirations to support the design principals of the WELL Building Standard™ across our offices, it made logical sense to enter into the Wellbeing category.
Our entry highlighted the fun initiatives that we’ve hosted across the business including events for Mental Health Awareness Week and also highlighted the various improvements we’ve made to our employee benefits package.
“The health and wellbeing of our employees is pivotal to all that we do as a practice and we’ve adopted new policies and design practices to support this across the practice said Chris Plummer, “As such, we are extremely proud to have been recognised by Building Magazine as one of the industry’s top 50 employers.”
