Fire Safety is an on-going process which is regularly reviewed, leading to changes in legislation - the Fire Precautions Act was repealed and replaced, and supporting acts such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (FSO) were introduced.
If your workplace is to comply with the Regulatory Reform Order, you need a fire risk assessment. If you employ more than five people on a single site, that risk assessment needs to be recorded and made available for inspection by the Fire Service. The process should also include an assessment of the actual risk in relation to the number and type of occupants. Our fire engineers make our fire risk assessment reports clear, concise, but all-encompassing - so you'll see a simple explanation of the relative risks and a programme of any recommended remedial actions.
