This project is a 32,500m² landmark office development at Holborn Circus including three levels of deep basement. Designed by Foster & Partners.
St Pauls planning and height constraints resulted in low slab-to-slab dimensions of 3800mm to maintain viewing corridors to St. Pauls Cathedral, so careful co-ordination of services was necessary within the restricted ceiling voids in order to service the 3,000m² floor plates.
As well as the shell and core services the practice was also commissioned by the initial tenant Accenture to design their fit out which included a restaurant, auditorium, meeting rooms and flexible office space following their new working practice guidelines using hot desking. A change of tenant saw the space occupied by Sainsbury's.
