This building provides the facility for the commissioning and testing of new diesel electric intercity trains for the Virgin Trains Cross Country franchise, with a capacity for testing six sets simultaneously.
Hilson Moran also assisted in the design of Bombardier's manufacturing facility for these trains at Horbury, Wakefield and provided technical support for the Virgin train simulator installed at Crewe.
