This facility for Trinity Mirror Group is located on a 3.5 Hectare site providing 25,000m2 of production and support space capable of producing 300,000 copies per hour. The site provides local press output as well as National titles.
Specialist systems have been included in this project including a sophisticated humidification systems for both reel stand and paper transport areas, (which transports the web at up to 14 m/s) incorporating room atomising spray nozzles. A further interesting requirement of this project is the robotic paper handling system requiring careful interface with the engineering services and alarm systems.
