 | 24/02/2010 Hilson Moran is appointed by Mount Anvil to provide structural engineering services Hilson Moran has been appointed by Mount Anvil to provide structural engineering services for its Central Street residential development in Islington.
Richard Thiemann, our Director of Structural Engineering, has previously worked with Mount Anvil on its schemes at Chatham Place, Hackney and Charrington Court, Romford.
Mount Anvil specialises in delivering high quality, sustainable housing solutions in London boroughs, including mixed-tenure and mixed-use residential schemes and significant regeneration projects, and we are particularly pleased to have been appointed for Mount Anvil’s largest development to date.
The Central Street project has planning permission for 104 social housing units and 170 private units, plus commercial space at basement and ground floor level. The scheme consists of seven blocks of varying heights of up to 10 storeys, enclosing a secluded, landscaped courtyard.
Demolition of the existing buildings will be completed by the end of the year, with new construction commencing at the start of 2010. It is expected that the first units will be ready for occupation by spring of 2011. |
